Research and development of the evaluation and training methods about dynamic balance

Health maintenance, return to sports, and the prevention of sports injuries require physical ability, such as muscle strength, range of motion, flexibility, and balance. Quantitative evaluations and training methods have been used for clinical evaluations to improve these physical abilities. However, several problems persist regarding balance ability. The first problem is that the traditional quantitative evaluation does not assess dynamic balance ability, but rather static ability. The second issue is that an efficient training method for restoring and improving dynamic balance ability remains unclear.

Our main purpose is to establish dynamic balance evaluation methods and training methods focused on dynamic balance ability.
